One of the more difficult parts of Search Engine marketing is getting back links to your web site. Both Yahoo and Google lend more legitimacy to a web site with more links to it.

In our experience, it takes approximately 3 to 6 months to get indexed and for the pages to start getting traction in the listings. Instead of waiting that time to gain visibility, we recommend getting the site listed with the pay per click listings (or sponsored listings).

The pay per click listings are the listings located at the very top of the page and on the right side of both Yahoo! and Google. These listings can be live in just about 24 hours and will get your web site immediate visibilty.

NOTE: These listings are completely separate from the organic listings in the middle of the page and do not have any influence on your site ranking in the search engine.
